Virtual Group Class for 4/19/25 at 12:pm Pacific (1:00pm Mountain, 2:00pm Central, and 3:00pm Eastern) Time
You'll need a 16x20" (or larger) white canvas. We'll be using liquid White as the base coat along with a few colors listed below. We'll also be using liquid White for highlights. We will prepare the canvas together as a group and then paint the winter scene pictured above.
Colors - Alizarin crimson, Prussian or Phthalo blue, midnight black, and titanium white.
Brushes - 1" and 2" brush for blending. A round brush for bushes and trees. An oval brush for highlights on bushes and trees. A few fan brushes, a palette knife, a liner brush. I don't think we'll need much else.

Discord is an app I use to connect via video call (like Zoom) with the group or one on one class students. Its basically a big chat room with super fans and followers and virtual class students.

I've taken several virtual classes and every one of them have been amazing! If you are thinking of learning to paint, want to bring your paintings to the next level or just are having issues with parts of your paintings -- take a class!!! Whether in person or virtual, Josh really takes the time and instructs you on how to complete your masterpiece just the way you need to.
It was a FANTASTIC class! Loved every minute of it! Josh is so patient as a teacher and helps to solve your problems if you have any! I've taken 3 classes and will take more as I can. Wish I could take some every week!! I eventually want to take a one-on-one virtual class w/him. I've been a fan of Rob Ross and Bill Alexander for years and have painted a few myself. Josh is a wonderful extension of them with newer/fresher ideas.
