Virtual Group Class for 7/16/25 at 5pm Pacific (6:00pm Mountain, 7:00pm Central, and 8:00pm Eastern) Time
You'll need a 16x20" (or larger) black canvas. We'll be using Liquid Clear and Liquid White as the base coat along with a few colors listed below. We'll also be using liquid White for highlights. You'll need to Black Gesso the bottom half of the canvas and make a mountain shape on the left prior to class so it's dry. We will wet the canvas together as a group and then paint the Seascape scene pictured above.
Colors : phthalo, Prussian OR ultramarine Blue, Alizarin crimson, Midnight black, van Dyke brown, dark sienna brown, yellow ochre, and titanium white. Liquid Clear as the base and Liquid White for highlights babd water.
Brushes - 1" and 2" brush for blending. A few fan brushes, a palette knife, a liner brush. I don't think we'll need much else.
